YTD Calculation by column wise!!

Hi Friends,

I am struggling to calculate the YTD for the below data in qlik Sense. In Excle simply they used SUMIF to calculate the YTD.

But when I try to get the same in qlik sense I am not able to get... I am struggling... I have mentioned the result YTD also in the below table. Can some one help it would be really helpful. 

I have tried with earlier posts in the community but most of them are for row wise... and not useful for my case. 

My mind is not working with some extend 😞

What are your dimensions and what are you expression? Can you share a sample so that we can help you better?

I have attached my sample data here. My requirement is to get the YTD actual and YTD Forecast.

Great, but what are the dimensions and expression do you use to create this in Qlik Sense 🙂

Country as dimension Expression(you mean the function or the code part), that is where I am confusing not finding right expression to get the desired result.

So, country is the only dimension? Or do you have Month as a dimension also?

Yes, if you see my attachment there are months as a field (M01..., M02..., etc) those field values are going to use in the calculation.

Do you have one expression for each month? I am still not sure how you have structured your table in Qlik Sense. Is it possible to share the qlik sense app where you are trying to do this

Sunny, I think, there is a miscommunication. The data which I attached in excel file is raw data we got from some source(except the YTD Actual and YTD Forecast). From the Data I need to calculate the YTD actual and YTD Forecast as shown in the attached excel. 

M01 Units M02 Units M03 Units.... etc are filled monthly by the source.
