I was looking for quite long time answer for this question. If you know about an answer in other subject - please just share a link.
Problem : I am developing quite big application in Qlik. I load a lot of different tables with with names that should be change with aliases. These aliases appeared in different places in app - especially in syntaxes (for some diagram). I already did to things:
1. I did rename field -> but this solution is working only partially. Changing LOAD script but do not changes syntaxes.
2. I wrote Python code that changing xml and txt file , replacing files and resaved file. Python code changed name in all of places - LOAD Script and syntaxes BUT after resaved Qlik can not open app.
Do you know why is happen like that and how to track the error. Unfortunately amount of xml is huuuge... 😕
