convert number string

Hi Community,

my data is: 00023456812

when I export the data into Excel the field value becomes 23456812

I used the function Text(00023456812) but it doesn't work.

Could you help me?

Hi Fabio,

you could add an preceding #-sign for example and cut it in excel afterwards. Could be a little inconvenient, but should work.

Chris

Hi Fabio,

This is a limitation with the excel export. Hopefully we will have a rectified update in the next version of Sense release.

Thanks,

Sangram Reddy.

Hi

ahi! ahi! ahi!

Could you give me a forecast output of release?

Colin-Albert

QlikView has a setting that controls the formatting that applies on export to Excel.

This article details how that setting is applied in QlikView.

Re: send to excel with Expression Default

It does not look like the setting applies to QlikSense or is available in QlikSense

Hi Fabio,

Wish I have built a Predictive model for it! I am expecting it to be fixed in the next release, which I think is in the coming month(Feb). Fingers crossed. Lets see!

Thanks,

Sangram.
