couldn't able to restart Qliksense logging services

Hi,

Recently i did qlik sense November month patchup upgrade. After that i couldn't able to restart the  Qliksense logging services. I am unable to connect to the logging database.  It looks like it couldn't able to connect to the Qlogs (PostgresSQL database). Any Idea?

Thanks in advance

Have you looked at the logs files and checked them for errors?

I get a Database does not exist or is an invalid version .

Did you create the QLogs database in the postgresql instance that Qlik Sense normally installs or did you create it in a separate postgresql installation?

I will let you know the answer for your question.

Provided the screenshot of the error which i am getting while manually kick starting the logging services.

Check the log files.

It looks like log is not enabled. I checked in Event Viewer and it states "Event ID 0 from source PostgreSQL cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer".

Also i tried to run certain commands in cmd prmpt validate qlik.logging.service but getting  the below error.

Can you check if the QLogs database exists?

we are not running the central logging service.

Gysbert_Wassenaar

I think we already concluded that the service isn't running. Is there a QLogs database? The logging service requires it.
