how to create a new qlik local user in QMC to access qlik sense

Hi Guys,

I have got a professional qlik sense enterprise license and I would like to create a local qlik user and assign the license to the  user.

But I fail to find a way to add a local user in QMC , it seems that the only option is to pull users from AD.

Could you advise how can I newly create a local user in qlik qmc

Hi,

Just try following steps might help you,

1.) Create a local user Account from Control Panel(user should be created on Qlik sense server system).

2.) Try to access the Qlik Sense with the newly created User Account.(you will be probably able to access the Qlik).

3.) once the Qlik is accessible login with the Admin access user and check if the user is visible in QMC userlist or not. If user is visible allocate the license and access the Qlik.
