mandatory selections in filter

Hi all, 

I want  to auto select a value in a filter,  so the value will always be selected but the user will have the ability to select/ remove other values in the filter. 

for example, in the field Country, I want the US to be selected at all times, but to have the ability to select/ remove other courtiers as well. however, the users should not have the ability to remove US.

Unfortunately, this is not possible in Qlik Sense. You could submit an enhancement request in the Ideation section. You could also consider using a workaround, such as include the set analysis {< Country += {'US'} >} in your measures. Another alternative would be to use the Calculation Condition for individual objects requiring that US be selected using Match().
