how to you create a mashup in the desktop free qliksense.  witihin the developer hub it says :no templates for visulizaqton extensions or mashups were found in your system?  So what do i need to do to fulfill that requirement?

Hi Doug,

You have a few templates which will enable you to get started with mashup building pretty easily in Sense.

Firstly copy all the folders in this location: C:\Users\<User>\Documents\Qlik\Examples\Extensions  to C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Extensions. This will populate your dev-hub : http://localhost:4848/dev-hub with a few projects.

That worked- thank you! Also can a mashup be used as a sheet within an

application? If so- how do you put it in one of the sheets of the app?

Hi Doug,

Do you want to embed a mashup into a sheet in Qliksense? Nice idea 🙂 I have never tried it but I am sure it can be done.

And its pretty simple I believe.

Just create an extension which takes in an IFrame url as input. Make use of the I frame to call the mashup into your sheet.
