Hi Lohitha, No problem - the context of the question is misleading. You asked if Sense used an IE plug-in, which is an external component for the IE browser that enabled certain functionality to be available in QlikView. Sense does not require a plug-in - just a supported Web Browser.

In more context - the design of the Sense software is singular - and will provide the same experience on the desktop as well as the platform (server).

Sense Desktop - uses an embedded browser component, Chromium - and also has http listeners that one can use a browser to connect to as well. This is by design and will support other features, such as development for Mash-ups and Extensions. (Workbench)

Sense Platform, when released later this month - will be a server component, where only a browser is used to access, analyze and manage.

In order for other users to view this content, correctly - I adjusted your question to match the response.

Thanks for your interest in Sense

Mike
