"Customer has bought product X, and therefore should also buy Product Y Z" - Suggestions?

Hi there,

I am looking to solve a problem and would like to see if some people here have some good suggestions.

We have a fact table with customers that have bought a certain product and the idea is that if they have bought product X, they should also buy product Y.

How would you go about solving this?

Would you create a seperate table with recommended additional products for that one product and then somehow in front end do a expression that checks if they have bought a product, then they should buy so and so?

The ideal would be a 2D heatmap with customers vertically and products horizontally and a red / green on the products that they should also have.

Looking for inspiration or ideas or examples so any suggestions are welcome.

It could be solved by an if statement like this:

If(NumSum (Value)>0 and Product='A', Peek(ProductSuggestion)='B') AS ProductSuggestion

You could nest if statement as well as you need to.
