setting filter defaults for users

Hello,

I will be running Aug 2022.

I have a request to read from Excel filter defaults for users and have these filters set when the user opens the Dashboard.  The fields will be:

Country: US, UK, Mexico, etc.

Brand: Brand1, Brand2, Brand3

and there may be an additional field. Some users won't have defaults and there values will be blank.  This is not an access question as the users can see all the data.

I wanted to see how users have handled this with the current Aug 2022 version of Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows.

Hi @mstoler 
you can try Sheets triggers

it will applies when user access a sheet and maybe combine it with some IF condictions so that it only applies in some circumstances

Hello,

I assume there is no trigger for "Open Document" in Qlik Sense?

this is the closest i have been
and combined with the option "Always one selected value" by right clicking on any field
