show variable input date field as a date column in table

hey everyone,

I've create two variables $(vFromDate) and  $(vFromDateTo) , where user can enter date ,

Now i want to show only that date range records(entered by the user) in the straight table.

You only want to show the dates? 

Because i think if you used a measure it would be better. 

Can you give an example if you want to use a measure?

you can but for that you need those dates in your master calendar.

in straight table add that date field from master calendar then use set analysis as

sum({<date_from_master_calendar={">=$(=your_start_variable)<=$(=your_end_variable)"}>}1)

then you can hide that column.
