Hi guys new to Qlik Sense but loving it, I have been trying but for the life can not work out how to surpress a dimension on bar chart where the measure returns a zero value when suming the values in a field. Any pointers please
It seems like there is a way easier option than what I originally suggested:
Just go to "Add-ons" section and "Data handling":
And un-check "Show zero values":
Hope this one helps too.

Hi Stuart,
I will do my best to explain, please see the below screenshots:
As you can see in my Sum(Amount) column, I have zeroes:
Now, go to "Columns" on the right hand side and click on the first dimension. In my case I have two; Region and Company so I am clicking the first inner dimension. And then scroll down to "Limitation" part:
From the "Limitation" drop down, choose "Exact value" and then ">", in the text box type "0".
And don't forget to un-check "Show others" box.
Here is the end result:
Companies that had zeroes are suppressed.
Hope this helps.
First thanks for that Sinan,
I get that for tables but I am trying to do it in a chart
So for example lets say my data to load it as follows
So I put that into a simple table
How do i remove item 2 from the the chart without editing the data?
Can I use the expresion for the measure or the dimension to say something only the line only show title if sum of value is not equal to zero. If so what is the syntax
The same logic applies to charts as well:
Please see the attached example by using your data.
Thanks
