Qlik Installation Error

Dear Team,

We are doing Bwardy(one of our client) Qlik re-installation for the version 3.0.0 after they have done the winodws upgradation to 2016.

However,after the Qlik sense installation ,we are not able to load the qmc page as we getting an authenfication error when we select the security certificate to proceed. We are using Tagetik Analytics for this customer.

Kindly share if there is any update on the analysis. We are facing the issue while installation process and currently the process is on hold.

What do you mean by version 3.0.0? Is that QS version. If so this is very very old and you have to upgrade to next versions..

Dear Anil,

3.0.0 is the Qlik sense version, Yes it is the old version. Because before the windows updation, the qlik sense version was 3.0.0. Also the backup and qvf files are available on that version. so we are trying to recreate the same Qlik version and once the apps is working fine with the old version, we are proceed with the upgradation.

Agree, Since you have backup you can go directly to new version. Off course, I won't recommend to Nov 2020 directly. Go step by step.

Also, I am not finding error when you hit QMC or Hub from your initial post?

Thanks, Just to confirm few things. So if i am proceed with the new version, Is there any impact on the Qlik App and visualizations used in the old version. Everything working fine? because we use Tagetik analytics here.

Also when we tried to login qmc, certificate authentication error is coming. do you have any idea about the error?

It's difficult to offer without seeing error? What is that certificate error you mean. If that is in error browser URL you must installed SSL certificate. 

Comes to another part, It will work for higher version as well. But you must call out for Qlik help in case something complex.

Why this type of error is coming and how can we solve this. any suggestions ?

We really don't need to look this certificate so far my knowledge but You should look the profile certificate where it is connecting to the URL.
