Avoid using macro's. There are almost always better solutions. Keep things as simple as possible or you risk confusing your users to no end.

Avoiding to use macros is better,because there performance issues(for more details Macros are Bad).

Hi Albert,

what do you need a macro for? it is recommended to avoid them but there are cases in which there are no other option but to use them.

Devil's advocate:

Macros can be great... For example for supporting tasks during development, e.g. importing and exporting variables or controlling chart settings where the dialog is not supporting this.

It depends on what you are trying to achieve with the macro code.
