Hi,

I am having date format llike 30-11-2016.txt .how can i remove .txt from the date.

Try like:

Purgechar(DateField, '.txt')

Or,

SubField(DateField,'.' ,1)

1) SubField('30-11-2016.txt', '.', 1)

2) Replace('30-11-2016.txt', '.txt', '')

3) Left('30-11-2016.txt', 10)

4) PurgeChar(''30-11-2016.txt', '.txt')
