Default selection of list box with colour while opening qvw app

HI All,

Could you please suggest how make default selection in list box with color as well.

I have two list boxes with like below

Source 1: (02/22 ver.)

(03/22 ver.)

(04/23 ver.)

(05/23 ver.)

(10/23 ver.)-->(prev year)

Source2 :

(02/22 ver.)

(03/22 ver.)

(04/23 ver.)

(05/23 ver.

) (06/23 ver.)

(10/23 ver.)-->(prev year)

I need default selection of source1 is (05/23 ver,)

and source2 is (06/23)

when ever I opened the qvw app above values needs to be selected by default.

and once data updated new data versions are added to list box for list box1(source1) like (06/23)

and listbx2(source2) is with (07/20)

after updating the app I need above mentioned values as default.

could you please suggest me

HI Nikhil,

you can use document triggers:

Scenario 1: on open trigger (to set default value on open)

Scenario 2: On post reload trigger (to set default value on Update)

You are setting date so, ensure date formats are same.

On what basis the values of Source1, Source2 are updated.

As you specified:

default selection of source1 is (05/23 ver) and source2 is (06/23).

When new data is there then,

list box1(source1) like (06/23) and listbx2(source2) is with (07/20).

On what basis you're considering these values, Either on max values or Last updated values?

Hi Bala,

it looks like latest Updated values and those are the max values of list boxes

[10/26 is the standard we derived it from previous year sales info for whole year

like 2017/10 to 2018/10/
