Hi All,
I'm trying to run a JMeter test through QV Scalability Tools 0.8. However, I generate and execute script, Logfile collector gives me Failed to get QVS list from <ServerName>.
Also, when authentication method is set to NTLM, how to pass the userid and password.
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Hardik
Hi Hardik,
Did you manage to solve this issue? I'm having the same problem.. (I do have full admin rights for the server I'm testing on.)
Regards,
Robbert
Hi,
Any updates on this issue. Even I am struck on this.
Thanks,
Venu
Hi Venu,
Were you able to debug this ?
Coz i am stuck since morning with this error. And i have no idea how to proceed.
Thanks
Pooja
Hi,
Looks like there are few settings in the Qlikview web server which needs to
be done to resolve this issue. The settings are described in the QV
Scalabilty manual Prerequisites for the web server.
But as we were not allowed to change these in the PRD server, we
discontinued using the tool.

Hi Hardik,
I am facing the same issue... did you manage to get a solution. if so plz help
Thanks
Deepika
Thanks Venu.
I found the solution. I was giving the instance name as QVS@servername. Instead just gave the servername or the IP address and it connected to the QVS.
Thanks
Hi Pooja,
I'm facing the same issue as the others above. Could you explain your solution in a bit more detail? Could you tell me in which screen you changed the instance name?
Also, if others have a solution, posting it here would be very welcome!
Thanks, Robert
Hi Robert,
You have to enter the server instance name in the Log Fetcher window. And click on scan button on the right. This will collect all the required log files. Hope this helps
Hi Pooja,
Thanks for the reply. When I enter the server name I get back: 'failed to init qvs: [Server Name]'. May I ask what you've entered? Are you accessing the Qlikview server directly or a server from a company?
Hope to hear from you,
Robert
