Is there any way for Management Console to access QVD from a shared Drive ?

It is a client requirement.I was not sure how it works.

I understand it is a Client requirement, but what's he intentions to with the QMC and QVD? is to shared it so other people can grab it? or to view the QVDs in QMC? need little more explanation.

Hi Gopinath,

If client has to view the QVD. My suggestion is load that QVD into a QVW document and put all the columns in a table box. Now using qlikview server mount that application on the access point so that he can see the entire data of the QVD in the QVW file. Hope this helps.

Yes. You must use UNC paths

\\servername\sharename

instead of mapped drive letters.

You won't be able to do that unfortunately, You can shared a path and allow users to go there instead.

You may use

UNC path / FTP to download the qvd on to local machine,

Read the qvd in qvw

or you may use freely available tools such as  QViewer or Q-Eye

Hi,

You can even schedule a Batch file to move qvd's from you server to some other location or server
