Hi everyone,
is there a way to remove all recently opened documents on the startpage?
OK, here's just a dirty but working solution:
Make sure, Qlikview is closed / not running
Go to c:\users\<your_user_name_here>\AppData\Roaming\Qliktech\Qlikview\
Open the File "Settings.ini" with a text editor and delete the Lines beginning with FileXXX= in the "[Recent File List]" Chapter.
Save the file
Start Qlikview and enjoy 😉
Hope this is the right solution for you 😉

Hi Jakob,
go to "User Preferences" => "General" and set "Most Recently Used Files" => "On Startpage" to 0.
Greetings from Frankfurt,
Edgar
If you want to remove manually. Open qlikview start page and select Recenlty Opened Documents -> Right click on the file which you want to remove -> Remove "FileName" from the list.
In this process you can open your qvw file without, Open the file and reload & also you can add your application to your favorities.
Hope it helps you.
Cheers!
Hi Edgar,
this does not actually remove the documents.
The list is empty after you set the value to 0, but when you then change your settings back, the same documents are in their agian.
Hi,
1. On Menubar , open File button
2. In General tab, there is a "Most Recently Used Files" label
3. In that "On startpage" textbox make that value zero.
Image attached for reference.
Thanks
Sup
Hi Jagan,
removing those files manually is exactly what I don't want to do. Ever tried removing 250+ files?
It would be nice if you could just remove them all with one click.
Like I said to Edgar prior to this, that's not really a "solution". Setting the value to 0 remove the entire list.
I want the list. I just want it to be empty.
It is the proper solution coz u get the list empty but still the list exits.
If you want something more, please elaborate
I would like a list that's empty and that works.
However, setting a 0 where you suggests only changes the display mode, it doesn't actually empty the list.
