Hello All,
I have a query with regards to conditional formatting. Currently we have hosted a dashboard on a UAT environment. We have used conditional formatting for all of the text boxes being used on the dashboard, however on the access point, inspite of the conditional formatting being in place, the text boxes persist to overlap. Can't figure out the reason for the same.
Could someone please assist?
Providing a screenshot below
Did you try moving the text objects to different positions. Like in text object properties -> Caption tab -> Positions
Like below: try change the X pos and Y pos on each text objects and see? If this is not what you are looking for can you elaborate with an example file please?
Hi Joshua,
What would you be testing in the conditional formatting your using?
I would guess it's something with the formula your using, can you share more info?
Felipe.
Click + Shift + Alt and drag and check this test condition
Vikas
This could be because you have 'force show' setting on. Try Ctrl+Shift+S which is used to toggle 'force show'
Hi David, where can I find this force show option in Qlikview?
Hi All, where can I/how can I get a hold of the Force Show option?
Go to Setting >Document Properties > Security > and Show All sheets and objects - Un-check this option
Hi Avinash, the option was un checked by default. However this issue of overlapping arises only on the UAT server access point and not on the local copy of the dashboard.
Strange !!! try to check move your local file to UAT and then check whether the issue occurs again ? I think the QA file options are different than the local one
