Hello guys, I have wondered for quite a while now,
Is it possible to load a webfile and visualize the image from this webfile.
I don't want to use extensions.
I am developing a product, and I want to include a banner from my website into qlikview.
Is it possible?
-Thanks
I wonder, If there is any option. But, usually i would download that and used as image for Qlikview..
Anyone ?
Any help and tips will be highly appreciated.
Don't think so.
AFAIK the only alternative to "not-wanting-to-use-an-extension" is to get all your programming tools out of the closet and start rewriting the JavaScript in the AccessPoint code.
Keep in mind that such a trick will expose your QlikView documents to all sorts of XSS attacks... I would seriously think this through, if I were you.
If on the other hand you want to just link to an external Web Service, or a web interface to an ERP or CRM system, then you can use the URL/link formatting type for text strings. For example, to pull up a customer file from a central system whenever a user clicks a SalesOrder ID.
But I guess you already know this.
Well, I want to the something of the sort, when you load an Google Map into Scatter chart, using dynamic image and you load the google maps URL.
It would be great if you download the image and keep it in a folder. Use a text object in your application and from the Background pane choose > Image and change it with the downloaded image > OK.
Now make modifications as per your requirement.
