Width of horizontal bar chart

hi all,

i m stuck with a problem and it is regarding the width of the bar graph

wen i select any bars the width of it changes (usually increases)

I want the width to remain constant for any number of bar selection(dynamic selection)

plz let me know the solution(s).

in Caption you can set the height and width of an object.

Hi Deepak,

Go to Chart Properties> Presentation> and try to set the width

Go to properties tab Layout. Turn off Size to Data. Press OK twice and adjust the chart to the fixed size you prefer by dragging the borders of the chart. From now on the chart will always have the size you just gave it.

i dont need to change the height or width of the object..

wat i need is to have a constant width of the bars.

Hi , Bar width Get auto adjusted based on number of bars. If you want the fix width then Go to presentation -> Enable X axis scroll bar and then fix the number of Bars. Hope it helps

Do u mean the Error bar properties, which in case also doesnt seem to be working.

Any other solution that might be helpful.

Hi Deepak,

Bar width are adjusted automatically by Qlikview, we can just the set the bar distance. Width cannot be made constant.
