Nprinting Report failure in On-Demand reporting where in User will filter through Filter object with user defined expression from Qlik Sense side.

For Eg:

Below User defined expression is used

=IF(GetSelectedCount(Date)>0,LOCN_CODE_NAME)

instead of default expression below

=LOCN_CODE_NAME

Environment

Qlik NPrinting All Versions
Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows All Versions

Resolution

It is not possible to select on a calculated field, because NPrinting passes the selections in a bookmark and it would not be clear on which field the selection is applied.

You can only filter on fields that are included in the Qlik NPrinting report template, or the report will fail. It is not possible to filter on selections using an expression.
