This article documents how to find log files in Qlik Cloud to assist in troubleshooting failed tasks and reloads.

Reload Logs

  1. Open the Qlik Sense SaaS Hub
  2. Locate the App for which you want to see the reload log for
  3. Click on the three dots to open the contextual menu
  4. Select Details
  5. Click on Reload history
  6. Identify the task you wish to review
  7. Review or Download the log file

Reload ID

In step 5 above, the Reload ID will be displayed in the dialog box

For general activity logs

  1. Open the Qlik Sense SaaS Management Console of your Tenant
  2. Go to Events in the Governance section of the left side menu
  3. Select Events

Events are archived after 90 days. To access older events, see How to retrieve archived events using the audit API.

How can we build a Sense app in SaaS with the data from event logs in management console?

Hello @Visual_Intelligence_Support

Do you mean events from your Qlik Cloud tenants or Qlik Enterprise on Windows on-premise install?

All the best,
Sonja

@Sonja_Bauernfeind

I meant the Qlik SaaS (Qlik Cloud Tenants).

Similar to monitoring Apps in Qlik Enterprise on Windows on-Premise can we have an app in Cloud? where we access those events log files?

Hello @shaan007

We have monitoring applications available for Qlik Cloud. You can find them in here: The Qlik Sense Monitoring Applications for Cloud and On Premise

Hello Team,

We are facing issue with schedules, for few dashboards schedule is not working properly, It will run properly for 1st time but after that it will failed and automatically schedule gets cancelled.

This is weird. If reload failed it is ok but why schedule got cancel.

To dig it down I check your video about reload history. but I not able to find that too. 😞

I have professional license with all 6 roles also I am member that managed space with access of all 6 roles still I not able to find the logs of that app.

We published that app using other user id (service id), also schedule reload from that id only.

We are also planning to open ticket with support for this issue. But I know support will take it as top priority issue and will consume my entire week (might be more than that), That's why I am posting my query over here.

Regards,

Prashant Sangle

Hello @PrashantSangle

A support ticket for this is the correct step, as Suppor is able to give you direct assistance on this query and help you troubleshoot. Especially if you are unable to find an error in the log files, which would lend itself to being researched in our existing article database.

All the best,
Sonja

@PrashantSangle

I suggest that you duplicate the app, change the owner of the new app to you and try again.
