How to recreate the content of the Operations Monitor

If the Operations Monitor contains data that doesn't look reliable (for instance: some weeks contain no data), the content can be reset and recreated.

Environment:

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows

Resolution:

  1. Remove the current version of the app
  2. Delete the .qvds in C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log
  3. Log in with administrator account(Account must be a ContentAdmin or RootAdmin).
  4. Import the Operations Monitor application from C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps.
  5. Publish the imported app to the application to the Governance stream
  6. Reload the application again

For more detailed information about the Operations Monitor, and Qlik Sense's other monitor apps, see

@Daniele_Purrone Do you know the QVDs that should be deleted? Is it all of them? I think I have some QVDs in this folder powering other monitoring apps that I shouldn't delete. What's the list that powers the Operations Monitor?

I deleted these datasets and the data regenerated correctly:

Operations_Monitor_Reload_Stats_7.1*.0.txt

governanceLogContent_7.1*.0_file.qvd

governance_time_range_ops_7.1*.0.qvd

governance_date_time_ops_7.1*.0.qvd

At first I only deleted governanceLogContent_7.1*.0_file.qvd and the QVD exploded to 26 GB.  I think it loaded about 4 years of data.
