After upgrading to QlikView 12.80, multiple users logged in to the same machine (such as through RDP) are unable to use the QlikView Desktop client's webview feature.
A spinning wheel is displayed, and nothing is loaded.
Resolution
Upgrade to QlikView 12.90 SR1 or later and configure additonal ports:
In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView\
Open the settings.ini file
Add the variable WebViewPort=4751 4751 is the first available port after 4749.
Increase the number for each following user (example WebViewPort=4752 for the second user)
If you cannot upgrade and will remain on 12.80, instruct your users to open QlikView as administrators:
Right-click the QlikView Desktop shortcut
Choose Run as administrator
Cause
The default port (4749) is locked for only one user.
