The certificate used for the Proxy does not have a private key. A private key is required.
To verify if a key exists:
- Launch the Microsoft Management Console (mmc.exe) on the Proxy node
- In the MMC, go to File > Add / Remove Snap-in...
- Select Certificates and click Add
- Select Computer account, click Next
- Select Local computer and click Finish
- In the MMC, go to Certificates (Local Computer)/Personal
- Locate the certificate
- Double click the certificate
- In the new window, verify that the certificate has a private key:
You have a private key that corresponds to this certificate.
- Acquire a certificate with a valid private key.
- Install it following the instructions in How to change the certificate used by the Qlik Sense Proxy to a custom third party certificate
To resolve private key access issues:
The account may not have access to the key. See How to manage the Certificate Private Key for a solution.
