Pagefile recommendations in Qlik Sense and QlikView

What is the recommended setting for virtual memory in Qlik Sense and QlikView?
Environment:
QlikView
Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows
Qlik Sense and QlikView require physical RAM to be operational. Using virtual memory will result in performance degradation. However, a too small pagefile will result in the Windows system misbehaving.
We recommend letting Windows manage the size of the file.

for all drives if there is more than 1? (c:/ and data for example? )

Qlik still recommends letting Windows manage the pagefile. And a performance degrade is expected if the system relies on falling back to the pagefile.

So to get better performance is it recommended to have more than enough RAM and disable paging?
If it is not possible to have as much RAM as possible, leave paging with Windows management, but it will degrade, correct?

Hello @Luigi_Teti
Physical RAM is always preferred. Preferably, you would not exceed what you have. But we also do not recommend to disable paging, as we understand that it may be required. And in this case we recommend for Windows to manage the pagefile.
All the best,
Sonja
