Hi, if the workaround (add rule in repository.exe.config) is applied after installing patch 10 (May 2024), does it make sense to install new patch (11)? Or is it making the same change to the config file?
In other words, what is adviced:
- Leave patch 10 (with workaround --> no visible issues at the moment)
- Install patch 11
When adviced to install patch 11, do we need to roll back the workaround change before installing patch 11?

			Sonja_BauernfeiHello @dbroeze_axians
The latest patches include the workaround. If you have already upgraded to, for example, May 24 Patch 10, have applied the workaround and are not experiencing any issues, then there is no critical need to apply Patch 11.
If you do decide to upgrade, consider it like any other patch application. You also do not have to roll back the changes.
All the best,
Sonja

		Dear Sonja,
We have upgraded qliksense to Nov-2024 and also path-5 and we found same issue wherein this container object is showing invalid vizualization.
As you have mentioned we have checked our repository.exe.config file and we also found the entry for
<add key="VisualizationExtensionsExtractFilter" value="md|css|js|json|pdf|png|qext|txt|html|htm|gif|jpg|jpeg|wbl|otf|ttf|woff|woff2|eot|svg|bmp|mp3|jp2"/> is already available ...
Kindly let us know if this is bug or how can we resolve this issue as we already have above key value available in repository.exe.config file

 Sonja_Bauernfei

Sonja_BauernfeiNovember 2024 should not be affected by this exact issue. If you experience issues mimicking this behavior, please log a support ticket so our support agents can assist you effectively.
All the best,

Is there any option to configure the list of extracted file types via the QRS API?
We provide an extension with files that are not on the "VisualizationExtensionsExtractFilter" list. Those files are currently silently ignored and this causes errors when using the extension. Requiring a manual change in the Qlik Sense installation files is a significant obstacle to install or update the extension.
