When trying to reload data (which is externally stored in Google Sheets) via Qlik Google BigQuery connector you might get the following error message:
The following error occurred:
Connector reply error: SQL##f - SqlState: 37000, ErrorCode: 100, ErrorMsg: [Simba][BigQuery] (100) Error interacting with REST API: Access Denied: BigQuery BigQuery: Permission denied while getting Drive credentials.
In order to be able to reload data stored in a Google Drive from Google BigQuery you need to enable the Google Drive scope access in the Qlik Google BigQuery connector.
This can be done in the Advanced settings in the connection properties.
Set the value to RequestGoogleDriveScope and value to 1 (see fig 1).

Unfortunately, adding RequestGoogleDriveScope and setting it to 1 did not resolve the issue as I am still seeing the same error. Are there additional settings that need to be updated? My BigQuery account does have access to the corresponding Google Sheets and querying from BQ goes without a problem. However, in Qlik I don't even see the tables referencing these sheets under the list of tables in the connection.
Hello @Polina
I recommend posting your query in our Connectivity and Data Prep forum, where you'll have access to our active community and support agents.
All the best,
Sonja
Bonjour, nous avons la même problématique, cependant nous utilisons un connecteur ODBC pour la connexion à Big Query. Savez-vous comment nous pourrions utiliser l'option DemandeGoogleDriveScope ?
