After Applying a Qlik Analytics Platform (QAP) License the error "You cannot access Qlik Sense because you have no access pass" is displayed on the Dev-Hub.

Environment:

Qlik Sense Analytics Platform, any version

Resolution:

A possible root cause of this issue is the lack of the line in the LEF content:

PRODUCT;PLATFORM;;

Verify your current license / LEF by following these steps:

  • Review your LEF on http://lef1.qliktech.com/manuallef/default.aspx
  • Open the Qlik Sense Management Console (QMC) and navigate to --> Start --> License
  • Compare the LEF checker result to the LEF in the QMC.
  • If different, replace the LEF in the QMC with the LEF from the checker.
  • You will need the Control Number as well. <Apply>
  • Once complete, retry and see if you get the No Access Pass error.

Should the LEF not include the PRODUCT;PLATFORM;; tag, please contact your Account Manager so that appropriate adjustments can be made to your license.

I have checked the LEF , copied and pasted it from the provided link. Still, I am getting the same pop up with the same error.

"You cannot access Qlik Sense because you have no access pass"

The license monitor apps work normally, but publishing a new application to the Everyone stream or even to the Monitoring Apps stream, gets the same error.

Appreciate your support in this regards

After digging for couple of days, it appeared that this is the normal behavior. After publishing an app to the Everyone stream, all what is needed to be done is going to dev-hub, and get the URL of the object/sheet you need. Opening the app is not possible, but opening the objects inside it are possible.

Hope that this helps someone. Also, I hope that Qlik dedicates little time to document QAP.
