Qlik Sense tasks associated with NPrinting API fail with "Error: HTTP protocol error 401 (Unauthorized)" when there is a Proxy Server configured in the environment.

This issue can be identified by reviewing the Qlik Sense Script logs (How to find the Script (Reload) logs in Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows). They will read:

Error: HTTP protocol error 401 (Unauthorized)

Resolution

Proxy details must be configured in the connection properties of the REST Connector.
