Qlik Web Connectors status code 500 there is an error in XML document

You might see the following error message in several connectors within the Qlik Web Connectors:

Could not load connector table parameters (status code=500, There is an error in XML document...) 

The issue is usually caused because of a corrupted ConnectorSettings.xml file (there may be more than one of these in their App_Data folder, one per user),  please try finding that file(s) , back them up and remove them form the folder. This should result in a new ConnectorSettings.xml being created which should be valid.
