QlikView Server objects cannot be found in the QlikView Management Console

Server objects are not listed in the QlikView Management Console either in the Documents tab or Users tab or both. 

Searching users in QMC returns a Session Closed error in QVS event logs.

Environment

• QlikView 

Resolution

• It may need a longer time to connect and load the objects in some environments.  Follow the steps as in QlikView Management Console (QMC) hangs when opening user document properties.
• It may also be caused by a shared file problem. You may verify it by creating a new server object and see if it can be loaded in QMC properly.  For information on how to clean the .shared file, see Shared Files - Verification and Cleaning.
