hiding sheets in Qlikview an NOT possible action in a Button "Set Variable"

found a solution on forum to hide by using a button

did add to all 8 sheets a vShow1   /2 /3/4 /5 /6/7  and vShow8  with show sheet conditional vShow 1 to 8 each one

then on first sheet buttons with action    Set Variable vShow1 etc and  value  =if(vShow1=0,1,0)  etc

in the download program it works , BUT!  i did discover  then copy a original object van demo to create a next one

works ok,   creating a new one  in list for Actions it will NOT show option Set Variable  !!

so there is differance in my Qlikview and the downloaded demo wich has these allready created

what  would be the solution?

thanks for advice

You should find this action here on text objects or buttons:

Sometimes you can have weird issues if your reload the application,  what is often done for variables which are used to interact with users is to make them "bookmarkable".
Go in the document properties, on the "Variables" tab, and for all of your variables, check the "include in bookmarks" option.
