QMC Custom Schedule is not working

Hello,

I need help. My dashboard needs to refresh form 8 am to 1 am and Monday to Friday.

The custom filter that I have created is not working and it throws error.

Custom Filter :  * 8-1 - 1-5 * * * *

Error : Failed to cast lowest value of interval

Image uploaded for reference.

Can you help to me to create the right custom filter for the dashboard to run from 8 AM to 1 AM.

Thank you.

Ok , thank you everyone. I have fixed this issue by creating two tasks with 2 different timing.

  • 8-24
  • 1-1.

Thank you.

Can you provide a screenshot of the Enabled Task?

"From 8am to 1am" isn't a valid time concept. You would need to set up a schedule that includes 0-1am and 8am-midnight.

Hi , Task works fine before as we just need to refresh from 8am to 10pm. Now we need 8am to 1 am

As per my knolwedge, the hour position can only be 1-24.

How can I make the hour position as per your suggestion ?

Appreciate your help to create the filter fully.

That's exactly the point. You're trying to create a schedule that is effectively 8-25, and that's not valid. The midnight to 1am range actually belongs to a different day/date.

Ok got you. So, we cant make a filter if the timing is fall between two days, correct?

whatever time that we do, it should be based on one day of 24 hours only.

if I want the dashboard to be run between 10 PM to 2 AM, the custom filter wouldn't be able to do so as the time falls between 2 days, correct?

Hi , you can do a task for 22:00-> 23:59
and another task for 00:00 -> 02:00

Correct. I think you could set one up that does both ranges (it would be 0 8 9 10 etc.), but even then it wouldn't be accurate because you'd get one unintended hour Monday 0:00-1am, and would be missing the intended hour of Friday 0:00-1am ("Thursday night").
