Hi,

Changing IP only should not impact data, regarding this doc: Change QlikView server IP address - Qlik Community - 1713783

But maybe some data folders, data connections etc. need to be adapted accordingly. You need to check logs to have more info.

Hi!
I put some check you could do I have in mind:

DNS and static IP. Ensure that all QlikView services are configured to recognize the new IP address. If services were initially set up using the server's hostname, they should function correctly as long as DNS records are updated. However, if services were configured using the old IP address, you'll need to update them to the new IP.
Verify that the server's hostname resolves to the new IP address. Update DNS records accordingly to ensure that all clients and services can locate the server using its hostname. If DNS resolution fails, consider using the new IP address directly in configuration

If end-users access QlikView documents via bookmarks or direct links that reference the old IP address, these links will need to be updated to reflect the new IP or hostname. Inform users of the change and provide updated access URLs.

Ensure that firewall rules and network settings are adjusted to allow traffic to and from the new IP address. This includes opening necessary ports and updating any security policies that reference the old IP. This could affects data connections too.

Review all data connection strings within QlikView applications. If they reference the old IP address of data sources, update them to the new IP or hostname to restore data access.

After making the necessary configuration changes, restart all QlikView services to apply the updates and ensure they recognize the new IP address.
