Hello Qlik Community,
The sort options available in a filter pane are slightly more extensive than the filtering sort options on a straight table. For example, when i filter in a straight table on a date, the dates are ordered; ascending (by default). Is there a way to sort the filter on a straight table to descending on a date column?
I have the ability to sort descending/numerically via a filter pane whereas i cannot in a straight table.
Is there an opportunity in Qlik Cloud to order the filter descending?
Thank you,
Marcus
Hi Marcus
In the sorting tab of your table you can enable this feature selecting "Sorting on Search - Inherit From Dimension":
This will make that on the search filter it will respect the ordering you specified on your dimension.
