Mongo DB as target

Can Compose use directly or indirectly Mondo DB as target datamart?

A lot of people seem to use MongoDB for Node.js backend and I am wondering why that is.

Why wouldn't people use SQL for Node? Is this just how it happened to be? Or is there a reason for it?
