Can you source from a Snowflake view using Qlik Compose?

Yes you can. You can discover a view for the modeling process or (if just for ETL purposes) you can create a mapping , select “View” as the source option and select the view to use as the source for the mapping.

Note that if this is a new view you may need to click “Clear Landing Cache” in the screen where you manage the ETL SETS to force Compose to refresh the view metadata.

Please also ensure you are on the latest SP as there was an issue with views in the initial 7.0 release.

Thank you so much for your response.

The version I am using for Compose is SEPTEMBER 2020 (6.6.1.110)

and it doesn't seem to pick up the attributes from View automatically ... I
added a column manually and assigned it to the view then the model got
validated.

Then created the data warehouse but it doesn't map the columns to the
target objects. Can you help with
it? I am new to this tool

Thanks
