The company I work for have recently upgraded to QlikView 11 and I have been tasked with trying to get the EDX trigger working! I am a complete beginner and have been struggling to get the trigger to work. I initially went the standard route as suggested in various Qlikview forums however I have now realized that because we use Oracle db's, the normal 'method' is not viable. From what I now understand, I have to create an exe to fire off the task but as a newbie I am struggling. I have downloaded the 'QMSEDX 1.0.3 and source (1)' but I am struggling with where and which files should be put in program files and secondly what parameters in the code need addressing. An idiots step by step guide would be very useful.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
