Tasks are not show in the QEM

Our Replicate server is connected with QEM, and we recently performed some storage migration activities. However, after the activity, the tasks are not visible in the Enterprise Manager. The test connection in the QEM Replicate server succeeded, and endpoint connections are visible, but the tasks remain not visible.

Hello @Titus ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Qlik community!

It normally occurred due to problem with the QEM installation or due to corruption in the task dynamic_metadata.sqlite file. All the tasks inside replicate server are not visible or only with few tasks.

If the problem is due to corruption of the task dynamic_metadata.sqlite file, then it can be solved by simply 'forcing' Replicate to recreate this file by performing the following steps :

1.  Stop the task that faces the error go to the task directory under:
[Replicate home]\Replicate\data\tasks\[task name]
2.  Remove the dynamic_metadata.sqlite
3.  Resume the task (this will force Replicate to recreate the dynamic metadata file)

Follow the QEM log to see if the error stops from appearing and update us with the results, it will be better if you could raise support case, we will check it accordingly.

(If the problem persists than to solve it you may need to perform a fresh install of QEM.)

Regards,

Sachin B

That depends on your PC, some do, some don't. Desktops often disable onboard graphics when using discrete graphics, but laptops normally use both as the integrated graphics are more power efficient.
