Formatting of a calculated number field pulled from SharePoint


Hello everyone,

I was hoping someone could help me resolve this problem.  When I load data from a SharePoint list, I have one field, which is a calculated value (which is a number) which returns the following: float;#9.00000000000 and I would really like to know how to only retrieve that number 9 (this is just an example - it could really be a number from 0-200 (or more).
