Hello,

I have configured my SMTP server to use Office365.

I get the following error when I try to email a report in NPrinting 17.3

The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.57 SMTP; Client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL FROM

How to solve this issue please?

I am using:

smtp.office365.com

Port: 25 (also tried 587)

Domain\MyID

Network password

Hi,

It seems a problem on the SMTP server side. Give a check at official Microsoft documentation. For example Fix issues with printers, scanners, and LOB applications that send email using Office 365 -.

Try this:

Sometimes the problem is our firewall and virus scan software. The SMTP signal gets blocked by the software and / or firewall.

The issue is very easy: open the file C:\Program Files\QlikView\Management Service\QVManagementService.exe.config with a editor and Set UseSSLForSMTP set to 'True' . Then restart Qlikview Management Server. Ciao
