Making Widths of columns dynamic according to size of values in Nprinting

How do i make the size of columns in Nprinting  dynamic according to the size of columns values.

Making the size of widths auto will only resize basing on the data before they are previewed.

Please help out.

I think the issue you have may be a function of the either or both of the following:

  • The version of NPrinting you are working with
  • The version of MS office you are working with
  • Default settings of your MS excel workbook

I do not have any special formatting/wrapping properties in my default work book so when I preview, as you can see,

NPrinting 2019.PNG

...the template editor has hidden text in the column headers within the template editor, for example. But in the actual output on the right, the columns are automatically lengthened.

If you consider upgrading and I recommend that you do since your version Qlik NPrinting September 2017
is out of support, please remember to upgrade all NP components including NP engine, NP designer. These must all be the same version at all times.

Also you should check your default MS excel settings to ensure that you don't have any unexpect wrapping defaults. Here is an external link that you may wish to follow for that information or do your own google search on MS excel default settings.

Hope this helps a bit...have a good weekend all!
