Cell reference is changing after report generation

Hi There,

I have a requirement to pull a single value from a sheet in excel template to another sheet.
We use nprinting 17.

In the report editor I reference a cell in another sheet, but it is changing. Not sure why? In the below example you can see I4 is changed to I5

eg-

from-  ='Sheet2'!I4

to-  ='Sheet2'!I5

Please note that in the excel template I4 value only populated when report is run, till then it is empty.

Please help

The issue is fixed after disabling the property 'Expand Range' for the table in nprinting.

The references are going to change when the report output is produced.

That is likely what is happening but we have little information here from you how you have constructed the report.

We also don't have the expected results nor any actual results.

Share a video or a series of snapshots along with a detailed step by step explanation of all the above.

Further more, you are extremely out of support by running NP 17.1. I am surprised it is working at all to be honest.

I suggest that you reach out to your Qlik Account manager or Partner to arrange professional services to assist you with upgrading your environment.

But since you are so deep in missing so many updates, I would suggest at this point that you install the latest version of NPrinting and basically start over.
This will be a lot easier than upgrading as you cannot upgrade directly from 17.1 to the current version of NPrinting.
