Distributing a nPrinting Report with different filters to same user
What I am trying to do:
Region
Zone
Atlantic
East
Calgary
West
Edmonton
West
GTA
East
National
Central
Ottawa
East
Vancouver
West
Winnipeg
Central
I am looking to generate 2 different cuts of the same report, and send to users on a regular basis. For instance, if "User A" manages "East" zone, he should receive:
1 report for East Zone (which contains regions Atlantic, GTA & Ottawa)
And 3 individual reports for each Region (Atlantic, GTA & Ottawa)
Assume: These Region and Zone groupings are part of the data model and slice the data correctly in the Qlik Sense App.
On a user, report or task. at the moment you cannot cycle reports on a dimension so this effects your solution options.
In your case I'd probably create 2 reports a zone and region one then create user filters for the zones and have a single published task to generate these reports and then create seperate published tasks for the regions so I can filter the Users access to the detail at a more granular level.
