Error with new qlikview server connection

Hi

I have a new issue when i make a new connection to a qlikview server.

I can connect to a local qlikview but when i try to use the qlikview server it's impossible. I read that could be firewall and port but i open the 4799 on the two servers (nprinting and qlikview).

Hi Daniel,

I had checked and ensure all are configure correctly based on your list, but it's still error with QlikView Server not reachable. Any advice. Is there any ports need to open to allow NPrinting connect to QlikView server?

Hello Daniel, I'm also facing same issue with error during connection verification at this step: X The account used to run Qlik NPrinting Engine belongs to the QlikView Administrators Windows group on the QlikView Server. All, steps you have provided are already carried out and here are few details of my server: - Nprinting April 2019 - License leased - Desktop opening as Start page not personal edition - Nprinting engine and server running with same service admin account as QlikView server. - 2 QVS servers and 1 QMC server, total 3 - QVS and QMC servers are in different domains, but domain trust is there - Npriting engine+ server installed on second QVS server - Service account is part of Qlik admin and local admin group on both QVS servers as QlikView server also has same service account. - However can't add this service account on QMC server or API group as domain is different for both. Can that cause this problem as I have found Nprinting engine account should be added on QMC server management API group? If Yes is there any other alternate for that as domains are different for engine and QMC servers? Please let me know. Regards, Ieshan

No, it doesn't work.

I can open the QV file in the server from QlikView client using open file in server. This part is working well but when I try to connect to the same QV file using the same qvp link in NP connection, it shows red cross for "The QlikView server is reachable"!

The server is obvious reachable and it works well for QV client. This message itself is confusing.
