Folder Destination with Qlik Variable

When trying to output to a folder destination and referencing a variable in the Qlik Sense app the variable does not evaluate. The output should be

monthly\2017\October

but instead looks like this:

monthly\%%QV_2c8b763d45e348cdb2a4c5ae45c8a8ef_vMaxYear%%\%%QV_2c8b763d45e348cdb2a4c5ae45c8a8ef_vMaxMonth%%

Is this functionality not supported?

Got the answer from Qlik support.

Looks to be a bug in 17.5 and might be fixed in 17.6.

I am not seeing any functionality over here. that means you are calculating using % for delimiter of \. So, I would prefer to go using normal. Can you brief more related querys

Hi William,

I believe in Qliksense for folder path reference, you need to create a new data connection and use lib://folderpath.

Please share more details if your requirement is different.
