How to export the embedded Excel template? We are using version Nov 2017

Hi,

I have an excel and a PowerPoint report template given by a business user.

They want to make further changes to the template.

How can I export this template so that I can send it to them to make changes?

Once they send it back to me I want to replace the existing template with the new one.

Hi Michael,

This is not possible without fiddling with NPrinting backend.

THOSE STEPS ARE NOT OFFICIAL AND YOU CAN FOLLOW THEM ON YOUR OWN RISK - note you might completly loose your report!!!

1. Go to NPRrinting admin console --> reports --> open report you want to export
2. Use Export button to export report and download Zip file
3. Unzip zip file and go to template folder and take the excel, ppt or whatever template you use from there
4. Apply all the changes in this file (do not change name of the file!!!)
5. On your C drive on NPrinitng box find folder which contains apps--> choose app where the template belong to and navigate to template
   • C:\ProgramData\NPrinting\apps
6. Replace template and test
